We started with a mobile clinic in the most remote areas of Ifetedo parish with its more than 20 outstations. The Sisters go to each village once a week, and on one day, also hold clinic in Ifetedo itself for the people of the town. They help with referrals and provide good medicine. One boy who had been paralyzed for 16 years, was enabled to get surgery and can now walk with the help of callipers and crutches.

Just like in Azhin Khasa, in Area 4 near Ifetedo there is great need for a school as many of the children in this remote village never have a chance to go to school.
So the sisters started a school there, so far in a hall that the village made available for the children.

It is planned to build a school and make a borehole there, eventually to also give a chance for some sisters to live there as the way is far and the roads are very bad - the sisters need at least 3 hours and a sturdy jeep to get there. So far, three lay teachers teach the 70 children, and two sisters come at least twice a week to support them.

In Ifetedo, we started out in a rented house. The owner wants to get us out and use the house himself now, so we have to build something else. We got land near the parish church, and started building a convent in 2010. As the land is on a slope, erosion-control was necessary. In October 2011 we opened the new building. There is room for about 16 sisters. Besides, the land gives us the chance of farming, and work with a poultry has started so that there is also some provision for financial independence.
